Origin are Steel Yard Records bosses, Anthony Mein and Dave Wood, who
have been one of the main artists on the label, and enjoyed success with
the track 'Wide Eyed Angel' which found itself crossing over to Hooj's
Lost Language offshoot in 1999, selling 20,000 copies and landing in the
UK Top 40 as a result.
Refined Intricacy is a classic that has been brought back into the public
eye, backed up by new production Rage with its catchy female vocal.
Follow up productions will appear in 2002 on Renaissance and Steel Yard,
but for now enjoy a moment when the past and present of progressive trance
come to a head.
