█ Sham Pain brings the newest flavour to █
█ the rap game with hard hitting tracks █
█ and zero album fillers. His style is off █
█ da hook and original and has been dotted █
█ as '...Pimped out vocals with the █
█ smoothness of RnB.... a one to watch, █
█ this is what rap has been waiting █
█ for...'. He personally labels his music █
█ and style as "Clean Dirt". His album is █
█ complete and very different, it brings a █
█ breath of fresh air to urban music and █
█ the lifestyle in general and each track █
█ has a crown to be released as a single. █

█ Sham Pain was born and raised in the █
█ harsh surroundings in Peckham (UK) to █
█ Nigerian parents of which his Father is █
█ a Doctor. He says to be an African was █
█ the best thing that could of happened █
█ especially after visiting Nigeria on █
█ many occasions for family holidays █
█ saying it gave him a sense of belonging █
█ and to know who he was from the start █
█ surely saved him alot of time. He did █
█ not allow the grip of the streets to █
█ capture him and as a young boy steared █
█ himself into sports and academics where █
█ he had many accomplishments and ended up █
█ running and winning several medals for █
█ his local borough and represensting his █
█ school and college at many things. But █
█ it was music that really hooked Sham █
█ Pain, when he was growing up he █
█ remembers listening and dancing with his █
█ family to popular Nigerian artistes like █
█ Ebenezer Obey, Fela, King Sunny Ade, █
█ Barrister, Sir Shina Peters etc... and █
█ his elder sisters would later introduce █
█ him to Reggae, Soul and Rap and recalls █
█ the first record he ever got was Whodini █
█ "Freaks Come Out At Night". With all █
█ these musical influences it really put █
█ Sham Pain on another level and it is now █
█ the blueprint of his character. █
█ █
█ After UK living, he later moved to █
█ France (La Bocca) where he found the █
█ brutal daily racist system would █
█ incarcerate him for almost 3 months and █
█ leave him on remand for close to 3 years █
█ without driving or his passport and a █
█ hefty fine! for knocking down a "high █
█ profile" drunk man six and a half times █
█ over the legal limit (completely drunk) █
█ who practically threw himself without █
█ looking into the middle of the busy road █
█ directly into the line of Sham Pain's █
█ moving car. After this misfortune Sham █
█ Pain knew it was God's will that lead to █
█ all these events and never once lost █
█ faith or hope for the future even after █
█ the prosecution wanted him behind bars █
█ for 10 years since they thought (Prayed) █
█ the drunkard would not survive in █
█ hostpital. █
█ █
█ They (the system) had stronger personal █
█ issues with Sham Pain for not looking █
█ very French (unlike the drunkard), him █
█ being successful, driving a very nice █
█ car and living in a very bad █
█ neighbourhood in a very nice house! On █
█ the tracks "Pimpin' All Day" and "Oh! █
█ Holla At Ya Boy" he speaks of this dark █
█ time in prison and the hostile police █
█ interaction and says the racist French █
█ system actually helped him alot in big █
█ way since it was in prison he wrote many █
█ tracks and put together successful █
█ business plans for several businesses he █
█ is successfully running today, he said █
█ "...if it was not for the racism of the █
█ system and "giving" him precious time █
█ from his normal busy schedule he would █
█ of not come so far so quick (Merci █

█ The diversity and tribulations in his █
█ life have definitely crooned the █
█ original style that Sham Pain lays down █
█ and he knows what he is talking about. █
█ He has been there, seen it and done it █
█ and has also taught himself how to speak █
█ French along the way for free! █

█ He later moved to Dallas (USA) to be █
█ more closer to his cousin and croon his █
█ style and mastery in the music business. █
█ He said "Texas has a slow but energetic █
█ feel to it that no other State in the █
█ USA has...". █

█ Sham Pain was already an entrepreneur █
█ before the time he left University where █
█ he studied for his Mechanical █
█ Engineering batchelors degree. He had to █
█ drop out due to not being able to afford █
█ the University fees in his 2nd year of █
█ the 4 year course. Rather than allow all █
█ this to get him down he already knew █
█ that at the end of the day he was not █
█ going to work for nobody but himself so █
█ with or without the degree (or the piece █
█ of paper as he puts it) he was still █
█ going to make it in business and him █
█ going to University was not to his taste █
█ anyway as he knew from a very young age █
█ what he wanted to do, and this was to █
█ control his own destiny. █

█ After leaving University and a long █
█ period of being homeless and sharing run █
█ down rat and cockroach infested hostels █
█ with prostitutes and drug dealers in █
█ Londons notorius red light district of █
█ Kings Cross he set up his own Real █
█ Estate business without any help from █
█ Banks, Financial institutions or █
█ Government for whatever useless reasons █
█ they used to try to deny him of his █
█ success. He shut them out and vowed █
█ never to let anybody else ever tell him █
█ no, this is when he discovered the █
█ internet at its birth back in 1994 and █
█ used it to market his clients properties █
█ directly to the worldwide market place. █
█ His business instantly took an upward █
█ spiral as he was the first mover in his █
█ industry to use the internet as a tool █
█ to sell and market his products. █
█ █
█ Always the businessman he successfully █
█ went on to bigger things and started █
█ again from scratch, this time building █
█ his own media company "gRock Media █
█ Group" http://www.gRockMedia.com which █
█ at first encompassed only search engine █
█ marketing and later grew into a full █
█ media production house catering to over █
█ 10,000 advertisers. As ever the █
█ workoholic and businessman, next came █
█ his self financed recording label gRock █
█ Records which is currently nurturing and █
█ developing many new artistes that will █
█ be put on in the coming months. █

█ Sham Pain has a shrewd eye for business █
█ and this will always make him successful █

█ chest and eased some pains at times as █
█ he writes from the heart and lets the █

█ "Kiss 'n' Tell" touch on the topic of █
█ jealously when others see you are doing █
█ good and moving up and all they are █
█ prepared to do is hate on you and start █
█ rumours. "Pimpin' All Day" hits the head █
█ of ignorance on a broad section of █
█ society with the thoughts that "..Oh he █
█ must be up to something bad, he looks █
█ too good..." Sham Pain puts it down hard █

█ struggle of many hard working mothers █
