a-sided single combining jazz bruq/broken beats with sumptuous soca
sensibilities.
'ill bruq blues' started as a jazzy 'bruq step' remix for the
botch-it breaks artists deekline and wizard. spoonface could not
resist working with the the powerful fresh vocals of yolanda
quartey, a young legend in the making. due to there not being
enough space on the already crowded botch it release, label owner
martin love thankfully gave the nod for it to emerge as a faada
release.
'suzie' although different to 'ill bruq blu house and soca, 'suzie'
is a sure magnet for the dance floor. a must for carnival season...
