Gregory Isaac is established through the world he has several hits such as
Night Nurse and many more. Gregory is trying to tell us about Trench Town
Comprehensive in this record. Trench Town is a place in one of Jamaica's
ghettos. The Comprehensive is a school for young offenders. A lot of super
stars up lifted from Trench Town like Bob Marley, Bunny Wailer, Jacob
Miller, Peter Tosh, Jimmy Cliff and many more.
Tubby T. started off as a deejay when he was 11, with sounds such as Youth
Man and Java. Tubby decided to do the tune Sixteen with Shinehead to see
if it would help his career prosper and also his voice could be heard not
only in the community where he is well known but for everyone in the
world. Making this tune is the beginning of Tubby's career.
David Murray otherwise known as Starky Banton was born in London. He first
started deejaying in 1975 when he visited Jamaica for the first time and
got the vibes. Starky deejayed on party sounds like Java Nuclear Power. He
would like to big up Giant the owner of Java for giving him the
inspiration and encouragement. Starky is a Versatile reality D.J. who is
storming the World with positive vibes. SELASSIE I
Years of experience and despite the ups- and downs and lack of attention
from producers Fluff 1 is still on a D.J.'s mission. Due to the signs of
the times and not so much happening for DJ's Fluff 1 message is telling
producers to label dat, press dat, cut that, which is the name of the
track.
Pharma Kid aka Kid Cole was born and raised in Jamaica until the age of
13. As a child he got the inspiration to deejay and sing from his little
corner. He arrived in England at the age of 13 were he was introduced to a
variety of people who encouraged him to continue with his singing. At the
age of 17 he made this track.
Dagart aka Duayne Brown is an eighteen year old local youth at the time
this tune was recorded. The Lyrics Mama Bawl was inspired by the traumatic
death of his blood Rudy King but these lyrics are not directed to Rudy. It
is just an example of how a youth can get lead astray and loose his life.

Leroy Haris aka Sneakie Doops has entertained on sounds like Volcano, One
Love, Java Nuclear Power and the Award winning sound Ruff Touch Movement.
Armshouse is a message to the youth dem ina de ghetto to make dem have fi
live good, stand strong and don't run.
Born Richard Williams aka Iceman of Jamaican origin was musically adept
from an early age. Iceman has since turned his abilities in music to
recording and hopes to become succesful like his cousin Bounty Killer. His
motto is to kill people with lyrics not with bullets which he does in this
tune.
