Release Notes:
--------
Mayall has never confined himself to the customary boundaries of the blues genre
and Road Dogs covers an elaborate stretch of ground. Starting with the back-beat
laden "Road Dogs," to the Cajun shuffle of "Burned Bridges," and closing with
the laid back groove of "Beyond Control," Mayall maintains his classic style
while still forging new ground. Following in the footsteps of 2002's Stories
(Eagle Records), John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers' Road Dogs continues down the
familiar path that Mayall himself has paved during more than 40 years in music.

John Mayall's legendary Bluesbreakers launched the careers of some of the
greatest musicians of our time. Former Bluesbreakers Eric Clapton and Jack Bruce
formed Cream, and John McVie, Mick Fleetwood and Peter Green went on to
Fleetwood Mac. Mick Taylor was another Bluesbreaker who continued on to play
with the Rolling Stones during what some consider their greatest musical period.

Self-produced by Mayall, Road Dogs' Bluesbreakers include John Mayall (vocals /
piano / electric piano / harmonica / guitar / synthesizer), Joe Yuele (drums),
Buddy Whittington (guitar), Hank Van Sickle (bass) and Tom Canning (organ /
piano).
