Top trance artists, Salt Tank has managed to make a huge on impact the
dance scene with a number of their stellar productions and remixes.
Tracks that scored big include Salt Tank's slices of amicable
progressive house, Olympic, La Rece De Beatridge, Wave Intruder, Pi, the
classic tune, Eugina, and other productions and remixes that made them
become the most successful electronic music duo. Salt Tank also have
been responsible for some gloriously serene ambient/dance hybrids. This
EP hows you how incredibly talented + creative they are. It starts with
"Olympic" which was remixed and included in their album "Science and
Nature." Quite a chunky melodic progressive number with good work of
synths; this is one of my favs. La Reve De Beatrice is an atmospheric
piece of progressive vocal house filled with layers of interesting
sounds that interact well; This is the best track in the EP. March Of
The Holy is a short lush ambient tune that is very emotional; It's a
perfect soundscape. The rest of the tunes have weird musical structure
kind of like experimental type of music that won't probably appeal to
people who prefer their trancier style. The exceptional use of pounding
beats and rhythmic percussion found in the track "Gaza Strip" reminds
one of their other drum and bass style. Quite a variety of style. Still,
it's a great ep that one would agree sounds way much ahead of its time.
