The next single from the long-awaited sophomore album from Way out
West is finally here. Featuring no less than 7 mixes in fine
Distinctive style, there's something for almost everybody here,
ranging from the housey (Peace Division) to the trancy
(Sleepwalkers & Black Ice Vocal) to the breaky (PMT). Peace
Division offer a gritty tribal number, comparable to many of their
other productions in style. PMT get dark and sinister, applying
only funky beats, booming basslines and twisted vocoder effects.
Jay Welsh provides a seriously pumping peak-time progressive mix
with ambient sound-scapes and fully-intact vocals. Finally, the
Sleepwalkers bring the deepest of all the mixes...a slow-building
trance track with melancholy chordal sweeps. Of course, none of
these compare to the raw energy/power of Part One, but all are
worthy recreations.
Both "Intensify" the single and the album come out in August. Show
your support for one of the UK's greatest musical talents when the
time comes by buying the forthcoming releases.
