Two golden albums
One of the most populair deejays from Belgium, Sven van Hees, will
release his 4th album early May this year. After his previous two
albums (1999: Gemini and 2003: Calypso) reached the golden status by
selling over 50.000 copies together, the expectations are high. Some

Singer Lex Empress (Amsterdam)
For this album Sven will feature this beautiful talented female
singer from Holland: Lex Empress. In Holland she belongs to the top
of female singers/MC's in the dance scene and sung with many
international top deejays. With her wonderful voice and beautiful
performances she has a steady reputation. Lex Empress sings fluently
in 6 languages. She has lived in Rio de Janeiro, Italy, Indonesia and
studied their musical cultures and dances. At the new album of Sven
van Hees she will create a warm summer feeling with her Portugese &
English lyrics to the mood tracks of Sven.

Expect 15 January at Bat Beats in LaRiva a preview of his new album
"Synesthesia" with a lively performance where you can't stop dancing
at the jazzy, Brasilian house tracks of DJ Sven van Hees and the
vocals of Lex Empress. In March 2004 they performed together for the
very first time at CafΘ d'Anvers which occured long queues outside
the popular club in Antwerp. They also closed succesfully Suikerrock
festival at 31 July 2004. Sven liked her voice and perfect timing so
much that he invited her to work together for his new album.
