RELEASE NOTES
If you ever come into the procession a large acreage and toy with the idea
of throwing a massive kegger, do yourself a favour and invite the The
BCACA. The Montreal garage punk four-piece (the fourth member is love) is
sure to take your lame little shindig to the next level; The BCASA only
knows one volume: extreme. Combined with a censor-less tongue, nothing is
off-limits and will surely make your inner geek spaz out from complete
sensory overload.
Their previous effort, Bateman Begins, drew inspiration from pop-culture
icons like Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and those pizza eating radical
sewer dudes, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The results were downright
hilarious but only skimmed the surface of their source material; so given
that their follow-up, Fuck You Shredder, zeros in on those iconic ôheroes
in a half shell,ö itÆs time to break out those bandanas and party like your
green.
How do you frame such an event? As an epic rap battle between Abrobasaki
Shredder and Turtles of course! ôShredderz Freestyle Intro (Feat.
Scynikal)ö opens with a thuggish MC introducing Shredder at a night club
for ôthe biggest battle of the centuryö as written and played by guest
vocalist Scynikal. Once you get over just how far out the concept is and
digest exactly what youÆre listening to, it isnÆt hard to envision the
Shredder in his overly serious demeanor delivering lines like ôthey call me
the Shredder æcause IÆm ruthless and sharp, and tonight IÆm ordering turtle
soup a la cartà my techno drome will leave all of you left for dead and I
call my clan the foot soldiers because weÆre always a step ahead.ö That a
track later the ninja turtles (The BCASA) fire back with the simple
declaration ôfuck you shredder!ö û you just know Donnie, Raph, Mikey, and
Leo would approve. Over the four-part ôFuck You Shredderö series of tracks
that bookend the album, the band spouts out the album title so many times
it captures the spirit of just how ridiculous the airhead Ninja Turtles are
as heroes against their technologically advanced foes.
And all the other tracks stacked between provide a wet dream of Teenage
Mutant Ninja Turtle references spanning live action movies, original
cartoon series, and even video games. All the major characters have their
time in the spotlight, including Krang (ôK.R.E.A.M. Krang Rulez Everything
Around Meö), Master Splinter (ôYear Of The Ratö), Casey Jones (ôBallad OF
Casey Jonesö), ôApril OÆNeilö (song of the same name), and a host of others
interspersed. One song is entirely based around a dialogue from their
first feature film (ôI Lost A Saiö), while ôTurtles In Timeö takes its
content from the essential 90Æs videogame of the same name. Taken in their
Direct Hit! meets The Beastie Boys style of over the top garage punk, lines
like ôstraight outta dimension X!ö (ôK.R.E.A.M.ö) flavour Fuck You Shredder
as a dish that can only be served by The BCASA.
ThereÆs a fine line between brilliance and insanity, and the idea of
fifteen songs of fan service to a 90Æs cartoon certainly is insane. But
the resulting passion and bang-on precision not only makes Fuck You
Shredder a one of a kind treat, but a brilliantly original take one
something that should, for all intents and purposes, not exist. Sure, the
content is very targeted and niche, but it never pretends to be more than
an awesome Turtles tribute. By this point The BCASA is like an inside joke
thatÆs gone too far, but that gets better with every retelling. Where The
BCASA go from here is anyoneÆs guess, but for the time beingFuck You
Shredder is one shell of an album. Cowabunga!

On December 23th 2013 and after many many months of hard and collective
work, the decision was made to move forward with "usurpating" the quite
dead/ineffective/unmotivated MP3 council.
To this day we still believe that such was the right move to do as most
"leaders" are either too dumb or impotant to even make any difference. Not
falling into either category we, alongside several other of the senior MP3
rippers (Not to mention quite over 50% of MP3C), have sat down and created
what is arguably the mostly perfect MP3 releasing standards ever.
Comes a new year of resistance and WUS would like to sincerely thank all of
the lesser vocal supporters who have been keeping up with The Vision as at
the end of the day upgrading to RIAA v4.1/LAME 3.99.5 is not just one
group/person's delillusion but rather a very well expressed idea in which
creation and hope was put forward; things that seem to have vanished ever
since some of you have decided to give up on integrity and stand against
progress.
