landscapes of brazil.
both atsushi i have long been fans of marcos valle's music. so
this is a special privilege to work with joe davis and his far out
label to present the legendary marcos on our label rice records.
the brilliance of the man is in abundance as marcos sings, plays
guitar and keyboards with effortless ease. the compositions are
sensual and vibrant. the sound is pure brazil beach generation!
add to the mix the spectrum of colours provided by some of
brazil's finest musicians, including the fluid bass of alex
malheiros and the percussive grooves of ivan conti of azymuth and
you get some truly exceptional music.
thursday evening in london town and my grey and rainy day comes to
a close, time for me to escape to a land of sunshine intoxicating
rhythms and evocative images.
