    ██▌▄▀█     the camp. Miguel Gil Tertre aka Strand from Madrid        ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     has been one of the key figures of the spanish scene      ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     for electronic music for the last couple of years.        ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     Being a software expert, Miguel soon got into             ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     programming his own patches for the critically            ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     acclaimed MAX/MSP-software and created his very own       ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     characteristic sound. At the same time, Strand is         ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     more than just Miguel and his machines. Miguel has        ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     been collaborating with musicians from around the         ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     globe to exchange sounds, ideas and influences. His       ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     first release for City Centre Offices is a pe! rfect      ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     example of how important it is these days to open up      ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     the studio for sounds not created electronically. The     ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     "Viet E.P." melts Strand's digital universe with          ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     ideas and sounds from his friends and collaborators       ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     playing guitar, flⁿgelhorn, trumpet, violin, drums        ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     and the addictive singing of Paloma Sosa. Strand is       ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     neither an indieband going digital nor a treated          ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     powerbook looking like a guitar. Strand is something      ░██▌▄▀
    ██▌▄▀█     else, a new dimension added to the sound people call      ░██▌▄▀
