Releasenotes: produced and recorded by madeline adams (guitar and vocals) and
alex gural (accompaniment) at home in athens, ga, fall 2001 to
                   winter 2003.
                   notes from the pix website:
"madeline is a singer/song writer from athen GA. this release
is a big step for plan-it-x because it's our first really
non-pop-punk release. this is just good music, acoustic guitar
and madeline's beautiful voice with some extra musicianship by
Alex. the songs are great, but be warned they are not really
all that punk. also, take warning this won't be the last
acoustic release on plan-it-x. call us hippies if you like but
i just love simple acoustic music and i think it's very DIY.
anyone can grab a guitar and play...
a voice to rival any country songwriter goddess and great songs
too. a girl and her guitar might be the best way to describe
madeline but it wouldn't give her 4% of the credit she
                   deserves...
it may sound simple or boring when put like that but when you
hear the songs you will see that it's not. i met her at a
campfire show that ghost mice played in athens and i was blown
away by her voice and her words. it wasn't long until i asked
her to do a record with plan-it-x. she later released a live
CDR and a split CD with dead bird on we got the beets records
(now shake got the beets records) and moved to bloomington. she
continues to move me every time i see her play."
