│║ Description : ║ │
│║ ║ │
│║ I would like to say this is the best album from ║ │
│║ 1989. It deserves more recognition. Maybe it ║ │
│║ will in over 100 years from now. Who knows! This ║ │
│║ is a fantastic album with amazing vocals by Jim ║ │
│║ Gillette and amazing guitar playing by Michael ║ │
│║ Angelo Batio. Bobby RockÆs drumming is fast and ║ │
│║ intense. Bobby RockÆs drumming really shines on ║ │
│║ Machine Gunn Eddie, Bring It Down, Fighting Mad ║ │
│║ and the title track. He really goes all out with ║ │
│║ his drumming on Bring It Down and the title ║ │
│║ track. He totally deserves more recognition for ║ │
│║ his drumming. He is a drumming master with his ║ │
│║ double bass work. ║ │
│║ ║ │
│║ Jim GilletteÆs vocals are extremely impressive ║ │
│║ on Freight Train, Double Trouble, Nasty ║ │
│║ Reputation and the title track. The vocal ║ │
│║ harmony is quite impressive on Double Trouble. ║ │
│║ Of course, his vocal range is impressive and he ║ │
│║ knows how to hit high notes. He executes an ║ │
│║ extremely high note at the 1:10 mark on Freight ║ │
│║ Train. I donÆt think I ever heard anyone else ║ │
│║ execute such a high pitched scream on record. On ║ │
│║ Machine Gunn Eddie, he kind of sounds like Lemmy ║ │
│║ Kilmister. He sounds like Lemmy on Fighting Mad ║ │
│║ too. He sounds a bit mopey on Long Way from Home ║ │
│║ (itÆs a ballad), but thatÆs okay. Jim uses a ║ │
│║ variety of vocals on this album, he just doesnÆt ║ │
│║ do high pitch vocals. People are annoyed by his ║ │
│║ high pitch vocals, IÆm not annoyed by them at ║ │
│║ all. ║ │
│║ ║ │
│║ MABÆs guitar playing is awesome on Freight ║ │
│║ Train, Machine Gunn, Long Way Home, Bring It ║ │
│║ Down and the title track. MAB has heavy sounding ║ │
│║ riffs in all of the songs and fast guitar solos. ║ │
│║ MAB can do it all on the guitar, he even plays a ║ │
│║ punk rock-like riff in Bring It Down. His best ║ │
│║ guitar solos are on all of the songs. MAB is ║ │
│║ famous for his shred guitar work. His most ║ │
│║ outrageous guitar solos are on Machine Gunn ║ │
│║ Eddie and Shot Heard æround the World. The ║ │
│║ Machine Gunn Eddie solo starts off extremely ║ │
│║ heavy and ultimate. Then it goes super fast. I ║ │
│║ really like that. It is easily the best solo on ║ │
│║ the album. ║ │
│║ ║ │
│║ Machine Gunn Eddie is easily the best song on ║ │
│║ this record and it is the longest song clocking ║ │
│║ in at six minutes and 48 seconds. Not only does ║ │
│║ this song have that 30 second scream, it has ║ │
│║ some fast and intense drumming. TJ Racer ║ │
│║ showcases his bass skills on here. It is the ║ │
│║ only song where the bass is loud. This song may ║ │
│║ be known to diehard metalhead video gamers, ║ │
│║ because it was featured in the video game Brutal ║ │
│║ Legend. ║ │
│║ ║ │
│║ The title track ends off the album nicely with ║ │
│║ out-fucking-rageous vocals. Lots of good vocal ║ │
│║ harmonization is found and there are some cool ║ │
│║ screams. Towards at the end of song, Bobby Rock ║ │
│║ and MAB go really fast. Bobby Rock goes as fast ║ │
│║ as possible and it is quite astounding. The ║ │
│║ title track totally sums up this album, itÆs ║ │
│║ out-fucking-rageous! ║ │
│║ ║ │
│║ ThereÆs too much treble on this album. It was ║ │
│║ turned up to the max and I donÆt like that. The ║ │
│║ mixing engineer Charlie Watts should have caught ║ │
│║ that flaw. That really sucks and thatÆs my only ║ │
│║ complaint about this album. Other than that, ║ │
│║ this is an out-fucking-rageous album. If youÆre ║ │
│║ not into experimental glam rock and traditional ║ │
│║ heavy metal, donÆt listen to it. This album ║ │
│║ should have been the #1 album on the Billboard ║ │
│║ chart in 1989. Too bad it wasnÆt. ║ │
