██▓▓ Two Dutch necomers to the Soma stable drop a ██▓▓
██▓▓ big time bomb of an EP to help close out the ██▓▓
██▓▓ year. Once again, the Dutch take the Detroit ██▓▓
██▓▓ sound and reinvent it into an absolutely ██▓▓
██▓▓ gorgeous EP. This has happened at least a ██▓▓
██▓▓ thousand times before but everytime I hear a ██▓▓
██▓▓ quality Dutch record I get the same rush. ██▓▓
██▓▓ There is just a certain quality that the ██▓▓
██▓▓ producers adhere to that has to be admired. ██▓▓
██▓▓ My track of choice-Motor City, has a driving ██▓▓
██▓▓ plastic bassline with crisp uptempo drums ██▓▓
██▓▓ and then the keys from Higher Education come ██▓▓
██▓▓ in and take the track to a whole new place. ██▓▓
██▓▓ The other track on the B side D-Vices is ██▓▓
██▓▓ another quality effort that would be an A ██▓▓
██▓▓ side on any other label with its strict 313 ██▓▓
██▓▓ bassline and again nicely programmed drums. ██▓▓
██▓▓ The A side Fase 2 is the forgotten gem that ██▓▓
██▓▓ fits into more of a house room but ██▓▓
██▓▓ technoheads will jam on it too in the same ██▓▓
██▓▓ way all the good little technochildren melt ██▓▓
██▓▓ when they hear Groove La Chord. All I can ██▓▓
██▓▓ say is more please! ██▓▓
