| | album on Distinctive Breaks. A thirteen tracker, after-hours | |
| | inspired selection of Mr. Coco's late night adventures. The | |

| | The title Heavy Mellow refers on one hand to the albums mellow | |
| | pace, style and feel, whilst in contrast experienced under | |

| | steers towards the heavy. Inspired tracks such as the thoughtful | |

| | Chris, as ever, has his fingers in many pies. With the imminent | |
| | release of Remasterpiece - his other 2005 album release on EMI | |
| | Classics; his many art based projects in development; Live shows, | |
| | DVD visual projects gigs at Sonar and of course the hop across to | |
| | Ibiza this summer for his many afternoon sets. | |
| | | |
| | For those that don't know, but should, Chris was a hugely | |
| | instrumental figure in the Eighties dance scene, particularly the | |
| | acid house boom; Running the Coco Club and Frenzy club nights at | |
| | Brightons' Zap club, which were rave epicentres during that time. | |
| | | |
| | By the mid nineties Chris' fondness for the chill-out and | |
| | Balearic sounds had seemingly overtaken that of the dance scene. | |
| | He found himself helming DJ Magazine as editor, with single and | |
| | album releases on labels such as Warp and globetrotting the world | |
| | djing chill-out sounds from Ibiza sunset to fashion parties. | |
| | | |
| | His debut album on Distinctive featured collaborations from the | |
| | likes of Nick Cave and author Iain Banks. Whilst 2003 saw the | |
| | release of his Radio One Blue Room compilation for BBC Worldwide. | |
| | But for now it's very much Heavy Mellow, an album that conjures | |
| | and evokes a huge range of emotions. It's pace and style suiting | |
| | headphone listening if you can, if not, take it to somewhere | |
| | private. For all iPod usersàthis is what Chris has spent time and | |
| | energy and experience doing. This is what he's best at. Let him | |
| | take you through the journey his way and in his style. | |
