Release Notes:

After months of hard work, Parc X trio releases its second album. Recorded and
co-produced by Tim Gowdy at Pierre MarchandÆs studio last December, this 13
track album is a real musical voyage where different movements of the main
suite, Cent questions sans rΘponse, are spread throughout the various other
soundscapes. The band is still composed by Gabriel Vinuela-Pelletier (piano),
Alex Lefaivre (double-bass) and Mark Nelson (drums), all virtuoso musicians and
composers in their own right. This new album is composed of 12 original pieces
as well as a cover of Imparfait by French-Canadian songwriter Daniel BΘlanger.
This new music represents a huge leap forward for the band, which has finally
found itÆs own sonic identity that sounds like nothing else out there. ItÆs a
blend of contemporary jazz that focuses on group interplay and high energy all
while keeping a strong melodic sensibility.
