when talking about nu skool breaks, one has to mention kingsize in
the same breath as botchitt and scarper as well as marine parade.
the hersham-based label fronted by david arcolero, julian shay and
richard crow-mains was started in '96. they've surrounded
themselves with some of the sharpest dj/producers of breaks in the
uk. with artists like hardwire, outcast, appleseed, meat katie,
sir drew, voight kampff and chicken lips, they consistently chart
on pete tong's lists and have gained critical support from the
likes of steve lamacq, john peel, barry ashworth and fat boy slim
himself.
