this is a family tune! sygaire, better known as roskow kretschmann
aka kosma is a long time member of our little collective. besides
releasing kosma on infracom he has come up with another moniker to
hit the collective with his first impressive 12" release: "got to
be there / in your groove"
roskow started as a hip hop producer in berlin back in 1987. nine
years later, he released his jazzy debut album "universal" under
the name kosma and started his work for jazzanova. he built up the
reputation of a truly open-minded producer with a sublime talent
to reunite a large range of musical influences.
"got to be there/in your groove" is a pure and wonderfully
specific dedication to sygaires musical background - from hiphop
to jazz, from fusion breaks to afrobeat. it works like a puzzle
with a whole bunch of little pieces - all hold together by one
thing: the love for details. a trademark that we already know from
the jazzanova productions. sygaire works with patience and
dedication - someone who really loves music.
