Forming ValentineÆs Day, 2004 in Orange County, California,
Great Glass Elevator has spent the last several months in a
frenzy of hard work, writing, recording, and setting the local
scene on fire with their nuclear live show. With influences
ranging from classic rock musicians Pink Floyd and the
Beatles, pop rock favorites Jimmy Eat World and Coldplay, film
score composers Danny Elfman and John Williams, to modern rock
masters Radiohead and The Mars Volta, the members realized
that although they were musically different, together they
compliment each other to give the music a unique sound rich in
diversity, which they refer to as ædream rockæ.
Great Glass Elevator combines their original sound with a high
energy stage performance that keeps the audience involved and
captivated, a winning combination which has landed them shows
at venues all over the Southern California area, most recently
at the world famous Roxy in Hollywood. Operating on a strictly
DIY policy, all buttons, T-shirts and CD jackets are band
designed, reflective of the bandÆs determination and
willingness to work toward their ultimate goal of landing a
record deal and touring the world in search of people who
relate to their music.
