     From one hype sheet to another `Leading UK independent label, Cross
     Section, celebrates four years at the cutting edge of deep n' dark 
     dance music with it's fist ever mix CD album set'. Cue, `Chris     
     Simmonds Presents The Cross Section Collective'. So what does it   
     all mean? Moving from the salsa rhythms to the deeper side of house
     `the Cross Section Collective' gathers together a mix n' match     
     selection of tracks that commute through ambient moods to disco    
     filters and squelches and rare groove. While the CD opens with     
     B.Rich's `Pro-t-us', a contemporary and moody house tune, it mixes 
     into Chris Simmond's `Safe mode Pt.1'. Not far from it predecessor,
     this grabs a taste of funk and a good injection of filtered disco. 
     Adding a different touch Mike Huckaby ` with Jazz Delirium' does   
     the in-thing and grabs acid-jazz influences ejaculating it over a
