You Win Again Gravity are a progressive post-hardcore band from Windsor, UK
with influences from the likes of Deftones, A Lot Like Birds and Oceansize.
Since forming in 2012, the band have taken their unique blend of metal, math
and melodic elements to the live scene across the UK, sharing stages with
bands such as Verses, Freeze the Atlantic and Hey Vanity.
The band released their debut physical/download EP æReflect the ChangeÆ in
August 2012.
A second self-produced EP æBrightly Coloured LandscapesÆ followed in February
2014 along with a string of shows to promote the release. This saw the band
both pushing their writing to a new level and stepping up the production,
receiving praise from Rock Sound, Bring the Noise, and Echoes & Dust among
others, as well as a great response from fans. The video for lead single
æWritten off as FictionÆ was featured on ScuzzÆs High Voltage Rock show and a
number of international sites.
æLet Go LightlyÆ, released in November 2014 again stepped up in quality. This
time produced at Hidden Track Studios in Folkestone by Oz Craggs of æFeed the
RhinoÆ, who has also worked with Mallory Knox and Hildamay, among others. The
track æSkylineÆ was chosen as the first single from this release and itÆs
engaging video was received greatly across an array of reviews and blogs.
2016 marks another milestone for the band. In addition to the newest EP
'What's Left of the Distance', YWAG have been joined the 'Possessive
management' roster.
