DJ Blue (Prague, Czech Republic) Biography
Blue started on the decks in '96 and thanks to the production agency
D-Smack-U became resident at Roxy's acidjazz and triphop nights.
He not only plays clubs all over the Czech Republic, but also at many
festivals including the legendary Jeleni Prikop festival at Prague
Castle. In 1999 he attended the Red Bull music academy in Berlin
and also started his monthly residency at Akropolis, Eclectica,
with guests from the Czech Republic and abroad spinning vinyl of all
genres. '99 was a busy year for Blue as he also started a remix project,
Blue & Clad, which now have several releases under it's belt.
In between all this he is involved in another project, Lazy Jimmy,
who jam live with vinyl, effects and samplers. These days his DJ sets
mix downtempo, tech-jazz and abstract breakbeat with heavy doses of that
West London sound
