███▓  Last month, parisienne visionaire Hante., released her third         ▓███
███▓  Between Hope & Danger LP via her own, brand new, Synth Religion      ▓███
███▓  label. Let me introduce her to you first, Helene de Thoury started   ▓███
███▓  her course in 2013 with the noteworthy English electronic dark-gaze  ▓███
███▓  band Phosphor, and very soon in the same year she launched the       ▓███
███▓  synth-wave band Minuit Machine (with vocalist Amandine Stioui). In   ▓███
███▓  2014 she decided to go as a solo artist, actually one-woman-band,    ▓███
███▓  and release her music in her own label. A keyboardist, singer,       ▓███
███▓  producer, sound engineer, with a quality taste and a unique,         ▓███
███▓  trademark vision on synth-wave/minimal-wave music.                   ▓███

███▓  Her original talent made the fans welcome her first Her Fall And     ▓███
███▓  Rise LP in 2014 with a warm applause, everybody were talking about   ▓███
███▓  that integral and high quality synthesized music. Then came the      ▓███
███▓  airplanes, invited as a guest and as a solo live performer in        ▓███
███▓  dedicated scenes and important festivals in Europe, where she        ▓███
███▓  proved  her ôstarö. Earlier in May, she released her new LP, more    ▓███
███▓  mature than ever, giving the chills to the listeners and her fans.   ▓███
███▓  A 10 track LP to nail you in the sofa or throw you to the            ▓███
███▓  dancefloor.                                                          ▓███

███▓  She is better in all now, musician, arranger, singer with an         ▓███
███▓  unprompted and impulsive release under her belt. And if it was the   ▓███
███▓  first single Le point de-Non Retour that revealed her intentions,    ▓███
███▓  the noir, cinematic, mid-tempo opener of the LP, in the rest of the  ▓███
███▓  LP she clearly unveils her motives in every ongoing song. A          ▓███
███▓  complaint and a little dark in the lyrics, for the next              ▓███
███▓  Lies//Light, with that spiral synthetic melody. Mention that she     ▓███
███▓  always uses both French and English for her lyrics. Empty Space, a   ▓███
███▓  dark and groovy song, ôthereÆs just an empty space, and the void     ▓███
███▓  you left in my headö, like dragging me in front of the mirror as I   ▓███
███▓  dress up to go to the club, everybody knows that feeling, a very     ▓███
███▓  strong song in deed. Eternite, dark-romantic-wavy, with a spooky     ▓███
███▓  retro melody harping along the harmony of the song. Dance to Live    ▓███
███▓  to Die Another Day, synthetic cold wave, and quite elegant, the      ▓███

███▓  The homonym Between Hope & Danger is among the usual inputs in her   ▓███
███▓  records that consist of a minimal approach, until refrain comes and  ▓███
███▓  where everything becomes bigger and more ôwetö in the mix,           ▓███
███▓  unveiling an immersive melody on chorus, and a great romantic        ▓███
███▓  sadness in the lyrics. F.O.X could easily be considered as a good    ▓███
███▓  synth-pop tune, but itÆs in a Hante. record, synth-wave on           ▓███
███▓  blue/grey musing with her voluble vocals awaiting the chorus to      ▓███
███▓  fill the room. Nous ne Ferons quÆUn, the striking uplifting song of  ▓███
███▓  the LP! You wonÆt listen to it only once, but repeat it! Minimal     ▓███
███▓  approach, ômechanicalö structure and a little EBM oriented.          ▓███
███▓  Down-tempo Lonely Horse, a synthesized dark wave song, and we        ▓███
███▓  reached the end in Winter Dreams. So uplifting in itÆs romantic      ▓███
███▓  melancholy. Where am I? At the gardens of Versailles, covered with   ▓███
███▓  snow in the winter?àand her voice comes from a distance, over that   ▓███
███▓  elegant, French-style, synth wave music. Is it the final song of     ▓███
███▓  the LP or the side chain to her next record?                         ▓███

███▓  Hante. is a shining star, romantic, melancholic, but groovy and      ▓███
███▓  up-tempo when needed. And when she doesnÆt plunge into the grey,     ▓███
███▓  she may sing as a raging sea. Very emotional artist in deed,         ▓███
███▓  Hante., is actually offering through her music,  her soul, and her   ▓███
███▓  points of view in all lifeÆs aspects. Love, loss, anger, threat,     ▓███
███▓  expectation, anticipation. You should look at her lyrics too, cause  ▓███
███▓  they always go together with the music, always! Finally, mention     ▓███
███▓  that her moniker is always written with a dot at the end, as her     ▓███
