½The blackest swiss (Blick). ½Now, its all encore (BAZ). FAMARA is the
perfect swiss reggae paradisebird. He is a creative working animal. Hardly
a year ago, since FAMARA published his successful album ½FAMASOUND. The
4th. album has now been launched with the brand new ½DOUBLE CULTURE.
FAMARA makes clear once again: an african heart pulses in his with breast.
His deeply in Africa rooted World-Beat-Reggae cames up unfiltered,
osmopolitical and many-colored. In contrast to earlier productions the new
album is more authentic then ever before. The summerhit ½Reggae Mondial╗
may prove this with its cultural blending between the typical
Reggae-Electro-Riddims and the indian Santoor.
His energy loaded liveshow electrifies after a few bars, the audience
becomes enthusiastic.
The ongoing tour ½Double Culture Tour is an opportunity to get convinced,
for example the Openair St.Gallen, on Juli 3th. 2005!
