Having hit the techno scene by storm with their past vinyl releases,
the Franco-Asian duo Technasia pushes the boundaries even further with
their long awaited single, Force.
Taken from their forthcoming album release, Future Mix, Force features
the vocal works of Charles Siegling, one half of the duo.
Together with Amil Khan, Technasia delivers an e.p bound to appreciate
the techno fan, as well as the house follower. From the grooving bassline
of Force (Original) and Force (Instrumental), the listener is lead into
a mysteriously dark yet deeply warm sonic environment. Force (Reprise)
caps off the A-side with a different take on the hypnotic vocal and
bassline elements of the original, fusing them with a break beat drum
pattern and a jazzy piano solo section. The start of the B-side presents
the mellow subtle powers of Resilience, with its fine yet catchy rhythmic
pattern, ending with the warm pads that Technasia is typically known for.
With Force like in Technasia's recent Genesis release on Technasia
sub-label Sino, explores the antithesis of emotions, the yin and yang
by searching deep into sound. Delicate yet vigorous, warm in heart however
discrete and isolated, it is through this contrariety that the music of
Technasia can be identified with.
Force represents the growth of Technasia, the development of the way
electronic dance music is envisioned by it's creators
