as you can tell by the catalogue number, these mixes were due for
release at the same time as her "restless times" lp, but have been
shelved until now for some unknown reason. side a brings us a
great rework by man of the moment recloose, who adds a punchy jazz
break and wriggling electronic keyboard work to to "restless
times" (in vocal and dub variations). over on the flip is the
sublimely languid original mix of "silent distance" produced by
extended spirit, plus a more upbeat remix by frenchman i:cube,
both of which also hit the spot perfectly!
