Vonsuck's debut album "Enne und" is a cross section of Taavi
Laatsit's musical composition of the years 1996 to 1999. "Enne Und"
means "before falling asleep" and signifies the hypnotic effect of
this music. Because Uni ("Sleep") is also the name of another project
which Taavi is involved in, "Enne Und" can be understood as "Before
Uni" eg. music which was made before the duo Uni was formed.
"Enne Und" is Estonian in character and in many tracks one can find
hints to motherland. The music can be described as moody, gentle and
ambient. Melodies and hypnotic grooves make it accessible for
different kinds of music lovers. Although filed under
"Ambient/Experimental" in recordshops Vonsuck's music is there to
please the listener and not to tease it.
