sonar kollektiv, the label run by the jazzanova collective, has
undoubtely become one of the premier labels when it comes to
referring the most avant-garde trends in the underground dance
scene.
their first label compilation is just around the corner so here's a
teaser to let you know about what the jazzanova crew are planning
to include in the album:
the first track is by sebo k (sebastian kahr) who's part of the
sonar kollektiv. remixed by the always surprising intega duo
(roskoe and matthias from jazzanova), the track is an absolute
dancefloor bomb, blinking an eye to the latest trends coming from
labels like spinning wheel or people, in a mixture of broken beats
and 2step madness. to top it all, vikter duplaix is in charge of
the vocals.
the second track is by the percussion master stefan leisering -
pathless. get ready for some drum action that will most surely get
your feet moving.
the last track - by stereoton, a collective with 7 members - is
being praised by the high peeps. a beautiful downtempo track with
the lush vocals from clara hill that owes everything to the nu-soul
movement of the last year (jill scott, erykah baduh, india arie,
etc).
