IBMCs is a multimedia organisation working on various projects
designed to expose and promote the phenomenon of worldwide hip-hop
culture. We have been researching, archiving, promoting and
producing international Hip Hop since 1998 bringing a unique
perspective to the subject with various projects including
documentaries, interviews, mixtapes, and event promotion etc.
Vol 8, we made it. Artists from UK, Canada, Belgium, Netherlands and
the US on here, via Switzerland and Brazil.
The all-star producer line up of Muneshine, George Fields, Kick Back
and IceRocks was bound to bring something special to the table. Add
some additional cuts from DJ Grazzhoppa, Sir Beans OBE and DJ
PropoÆ88 and we have a heavyweight combination.
Shout out to all the emcees on the EP, this one's for you.
The project took several years to complete (in fact spanning a 15
year period in total!) and the artwork of the individual tracks
created by EZPZ forms together to make the cover for the EP.
