│ So we went to see Rize way the fuck out in the Inland Empire. │
│ They wanted to go to some slut clothes store they shopped at │
│ years ago and laugh at themselves, so I went and looked around │
│ Virgin. I am always so uncomfortable in music stores. I don't │
│ know what I'm looking for, so I tend to look for Dabrye, then │
│ for hip-hop 12"s, then I'll go look through the electronic │
│ section and spend twenty minutes sifting through the fucking │
│ trance shit. Then I remember that I have been meaning to buy │
│ xy&z, blah blah blah. I always worry that the employees/other │
│ shoppers will notice that I look through the same sections like │
│ four times and tend to walk around a lot looking like a fool. │
│ │
│ I'm weird. I know it. In most ways, I appreciate my own │
│ weirdness, or at least act as though I do. But I do wish that I │
│ could get to the point more quickly, so to speak, at the record │
│ shop. │

│ While I was looking through the electronic section, I saw a │
│ bunch of copies of Arular. I never bothered to buy the album │
│ because Beggars (XL's us distro) sent me an advance copy in like │
│ April. I have, though, looked through her shit whenever I've │
│ seen it to see if there's anything I for some reason don't know │
│ about. The XL version of the disc (the EU release, in other │
│ words) is housed in a cardboard slip and is essentially the same │
│ as the advance that my best friends DPS released in April. 12 │
│ tracks with a hidden track at the end (titled M.I.A.). JRP in │
│ their finite wisdom released M.I.A. as the Japanese "Bonus │
│ Track" like a month later. Fuck JRP, just so you know how I │
│ feel. I had heard that U.R.A.Q.T. was to be the Japanese bonus │
│ track, so I was understandably upset that JRP had gotten my │
│ hopes up then dashed them with their stupidity. Fuck them, │
│ seriously. OK, so anyway, I noticed this copy of Arular with no │
│ cardboard slip, but still in plastic and shit. I picked it up. │
│ "Ah, the US version..." I think the guy next to me snickered. │
│ I don't blame him -- I would have, too. U.R.A.Q.T. is the US │
│ bonus, bitch. About time this track sees the light. It's on │
│ the Piracy Funds Terrorism mix I released, but being part of a │
│ mix, it's not easily put on a CD for your friend's little │
│ sister. Or whatever. │

│ Oh, and I just noticed that the tracklist is in a slightly │
│ different order, and FREEDOM SKIT on the UK version is replaced │
│ by DASH THE CURRY SKIT here. They are different, trust me. │
