░  The velvet blue have a front man (Robert Urizar) that is not limited by    ░
░  the extra duty of playing an instrument which allows him freedom to        ░
░  explore the stage and extrude his Latino heritage. The keyboardist(Eric    ░
░  Alvarado) is subtle and dynamic but never over-bearing. A Scottish bass    ░
░  player(Brian Murphy) that is rhythmic without being funky which perfectly  ░
░  compliments the drumming(Joe Isaac).                                       ░

░  These two, along with the skills of guitarist(Richard Scoulou) are the     ░
░  combination that is true to creating rock sounds as their predecessors     ░
░  Pearl Jam, Janes Addiction and Porno For Pyros have done throughout their  ░
░  careers. If you listen carefully the unmistakable sounds of Mellencamp,    ░
░  Living Colour and U2 are also evident, giving the velvet blue that extra   ░
░  edge.                                                                      ░

░  Is it just me or is the lead singer trying his best to sound like Scott    ░
░  Weiland? Not in itself a bad idea actually... ;)                           ░
