Another corker from The Filthy Little Angels Singles
Club.
Mynx are based in Los Angeles. The primary members -
Holly and Ara - write, compose and perform the music,
with live drums added by Joel. Mynx has been
described as an odd couple, the pairing of femme
fatale Holly with skinny rocker boy Ara, making for a
unique and intriguing dynamic. This dynamic, along
with their combination of punchy lyrics, infectious
hooks and fierce vocals from Holly and Ara - make a
group that, for those in know, is something that
can't be resisted.
Alice And The Enemies are a three-piece guitar band
who do stroppy, saucy, lo-fi songs about love, hate
and doing it. They are: Jay (guitar), Alice
(guitar/vox) and Will (drums). They formed the band
in August 2003 after 16 years of friendship and one
too many gins. Two great tracks from each band, plus
a secret track from Alice And The Enemies. These were
miss pressed onto pink vinyl instead of red and so
are rare as hens teeth!
