     This we have been reading for years from the pages of European
     music magazines reviewing albums by Finnish artists. We have
     understood that in this context London and Paris are used as
     adjectives meaning the greatest possible compliment.

     In reverse this means that music made in Finland has a sound
     and attitude so interesting that it renews and shows the way to
     places like London and Paris. This goes especially for genres
     such as ambient, chill out, lounge, down tempo, nu jazz,
     electronica, house, trance, and drum'n'bass.

     The Eat & Joy Compilation CD is a selection of new Finnish
     music and the freshest sounds at the moment.

     This is the first of two Eat & Joy CDs. This first CD, titled
     "Eat," includes music intended for an imaginary dinner
     restaurant. The second CD, titled "Joy," comes out September 22
     with sounds and rhythms that sketch an image of a bar or a club
     in the heart of the latest trends.

     The music on the CDs has been chosen, compiled and mixed by DJ
     Slow (www.djslow.fi).
