| Having kicked off Kenny Dixon Jr's Mahogani Music label in 2002 |
| with his "I'm Doing Fine", soul don Amp Fiddler returns with |
| another intimate piece of Detroit house music, produced of course |
| by master Kenneth. Fresh from the Mahogani world tour - where |
| advance copies of this twelve would cost you at least 15 British |
| pounds - Moodymann sees the time is right to release this |
| breathtaking new production. "Over You" has Amp expressing his |
| love over a brisk BPM, with the frequent accompaniment of Kenny |
| and co chatting in the studio. Rather than do as expected and |
| replicate "I'm Doing Fine", "Over U" is a brave move from the |
| pair and one which clearly moves under the influence Prince. Even |
| the sleeve artwork could pass for a Paisley Park record! The 12" |
| includes the full original, instrumental mix and pared down dub |
| version. |
