Release Notes:
--------
Tompaulin's second LP,ôInto the Blackö features appearances from Jim Reid and
Ben Lurie (Jesus & Mary Chain/Freeheat), Alasdair McLean (The Clientele) and
Alison Cotton (Saloon).
Shades of Nick Cave, the Velvet Underground and Galaxie 500 mix with the
characteristic Tompaulin wit, dark humour and poetic and melodic sense to create
an introspective journey through uncertainty, pain and desire.
This is the sound of a band who are totally focussed and know exactly what they
want û and theyÆre determined to get it.
