Formed in 2001 from the survivors of charter flight crash 852, Duct Tape
Mustache didn't know what sound to aim for.
However, after resorting to cannibalism to survive, they knew nothing was
outside their grasp.
The members, Singer/Keyboardist Tim Swanson, Bassist Travis Trainor, Guitarist
Mitch Hein, Drummer Matt Hynek, and Saxophonist Jake Thomas, decided to take
their music to the same extreme that they took their survival.
From the fastest metal to the slowest jazz, from surfs up to ho down, the band
lovingly know as 'the dudes from that movie Alive, right?' by the local idiots,
combine musical styles like they're mixing a frulatti.
Metal, Ska, Swing, Surf, Jazz, Punk, and Rock n Roll are tossed aside like used
condoms, as the song structure DTM creates is built following blue prints
designed by Corky. And yes, dear reader, Life Goes On.
Touring the midwest and soon to be exploding like a single engine Cessna across
the nation, DTM sit poised to attack conventional forms of music with
limp-wristed, girly slaps.
