Finally, the third instalment from these mysterious
heroes-in-waiting. They prefer to do things their
own, quiet way, but this group should be massive!
With shimmering guitars, whispered vocals and an arty
off-kilter-ness reminiscent of Radiohead, Rises make
a beautiful sound you can lose yourself in. Whether
it's fried new-folk finger-picking or Talk Talk style
hazey groovers, tranquil Grandaddy-ish drifters or
messed up churners, The Song remains king for this
clever, tasteful group. Four tracks, all mesmerising:
result!
Enjoy and Support.
