. Bidibop is the solo project of Vincent Nicolas, located .
. in Lyon, France. Snapshot is the debut album for Bidibop .
. and is released by Carte Postale records, who previously .
. released the Pillow record. Carte Postale is talented for .
. releasing music by new and promising artists in the .
. underground music scene. Theyre not limiting themselves .
. to a particular style and thats cool. .
. .
. The cover art looks a little vague but beautiful and the .
. packaging is a little clumsy but done well. I like the .
. friendly diy look and feel of this release and the .
. musical side of Snapshot adds up to that. This is .
. electronica pur sang. Vincent Nicolas plays around with .
. old synths and electronic samples, some (non-)acoustic .
. guitar tweaking and sound glittering. The overall sound .
. is very organic and the foggy wave of notes and .
. soundscapes clears any restless minds. Melody is never .
. far away, and the songs pass by like clouds on a sunny .
. day in spring. Yes, Bidibop reminds me a lot of Isan or .
. the ambient work of Brian Eno. ItÆs silent and relaxing .
. harmonous. .

| !:. | . We are dudes and dudettes who prefer to keep a family vibe . | .:! |
| !:. | within our group. Music love and friendship are the key | .:! |
| !:. | values that keep us together. | .:! |
| !:. | If you look at the definition of KINKY - it means | .:! |
| !:. | something new, unusual and also showing or appealing to | .:! |
| !:. | bizarre or deviant tastes. Now apply that definition to | .:! |
| !:. | our family and you get a pretty vivid description of our | .:! |
| !:. | modus operandi - delivering a variety of electronic music | .:! |
| !:. | styles which cater to our eccentric palette. | .:! |
| !:. | Of course we also have an affinity towards good beer and | .:! |
| !:. | cute girls (oh yeah, our girls prefer men). We have an | .:! |
| !:. | email where you can contact us if you'd like to spice up | .:! |
| !:. | your life. | .:! |
| !:. | | .:! |
| !:. | Disclaimer: | .:! |
