███▓  In 2012 In The Nursery began work on a thematic soundtrack,          ▓███
███▓  inspired by and, to accompany the Hunter series of books by          ▓███
███▓  international bestseller Simon Beckett. The soundtrack is a mixture  ▓███
███▓  of new music, binaural field recordings, sound design and also       ▓███
███▓  includes readings by the author.                                     ▓███

███▓  The first product of this project was Verwesung, a special German    ▓███
███▓  edition of Calling of the Grave, featuring ITNÆs soundtrack CD.      ▓███
███▓  Released November 2012.                                              ▓███

███▓  The soundtrack was then released as an instrumental download         ▓███
███▓  (12.11.12) and finally as a CD The Calling featuring Simon Beckett,  ▓███
███▓  complete with readings (corp033 released 04.02.13).                  ▓███

███▓  ôWhen IN THE NURSERY suggested collaborating on an album of music    ▓███
███▓  inspired by my David Hunter novels, I was immediately intrigued.     ▓███
███▓  Coming from Sheffield myself, I was familiar with ITNÆs work. Their  ▓███
███▓  music is dramatic, atmospheric and highly cinematic û all            ▓███
███▓  attributes I try to bring into my own writing. What we agreed on     ▓███
███▓  was to create something new: not an audiobook with background music  ▓███
███▓  but an instrumental soundtrack that takes its themes and tone from   ▓███
███▓  the David Hunter books. As such itÆs a unique project, and           ▓███
███▓  something that to the best of my knowledge hasnÆt been done before.  ▓███
███▓  Hopefully it will not only appeal to those familiar with the         ▓███
