     Coming hot off his rather expansive Cognitive Dissonance 2x12inch for Love
     Notes. and also an EP for AxeTrax. tape_hiss herein continues his
     impressive run. On Jacob s Ladder. the artist pushes his emotionally
     wrought sound over cooking percussion and bubbling acid undertones. Maspeth
     Ave is quite honestly the nastiest bassline we have heard on a deep house
     track in some time. sure to cause spontaneous bass face in the listener.
     Life as an Echo uses soaring chords and synths to prove its point. and
     Forests of My Mind finishes the EP off with a pitch bending chord that
     pushes the track right along. Yet another extremely cohesive. emotionally
     charged effort from this artist.
