     "L'Officine" was founded in 2002 by Gabe & Matt, two hip hop & 
     electronic music freaks with an atypical background.
     Abraxas, the main bass voice, is an active rap artist since the early 
     90's during which he evolved on the "free party" scene working on his 
     verbal technics & becoming today's great MC.
     On his side, Stax played bass in a band called "Ubik" along with an 
     actual "Silmarlis" member. 
     His musical influences are very eclectic going from experimental jazz 
     to grindcore through electro, drum & bass and hip hop. Officine's first 
     LP "Abraxastax" was released in 2004 featuring other rap artists such 
     Aklips & Scalpel. This first album was produced in a "Home" studio based
     on a spontaneous technic consisting in recording lyrics and beats 
     simultaneously. 
     "L'Officine" is already working on their second album with a more 
     sophisticated, diversified & electronic atmosphere.

     Abraxas, MC with a strong bass voice, wrote his first lyrics at at the 
     age of 13. He is evolving in the french hip hop movement since 1994 and 
     released his first tracks in 1997 with Kontre Courant.
     Then came BDSF (Balance du Son Fat) a band created along with Aklips 
     with whom he releases the project "Da Supa", a sampler featuring 17 
     young artists from the parisian suburbs such as La Fouine.
     Later on, Abraxas did as well many features with Trolls, a live 
     electronic band originally from the south of France. This collaboration
     as well as the ones with Cavage are the result of different encounters
     during "free parties". Through the big "Tecknival" festivals, Abraxas 
     meets the AMS Crew as well as Stax with whom he establishes the 
     "Officine".
     Today featured on several tracks on the AMS crew's double street album 
     "T'En Veux ? J'En Vends !" along with Svinkels, Debazz, Nitro from 
     Enhancer.
