            Kansas City, Missouri and Minneapolis based Lance 'LA' Alexander,
            Andre 'Dre' Shepard, Tyrone 'T-Bone' Yarbrough, Darron 'D' Story,
            and Tony 'Prof. T' Tolbert made up funk and R&B group Lo-Key. The
            group released two albums on Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis' A&M
            distributed imprint Perspective Records, "Where Dey At" in 1992 and
            "Back 2 Da Howse" in 1994.

            Alexander and Tolbert also were songwriters and producers in their
            own right, working with artists like Next, Alexander O'Neal, Shanice
            and for Smooth. Tolbert continued to work with Jimmy Jam & Terry
            Lewis, appearing as a songwriter and background vocalist on albums
            by Earth, Wind & Fire, Janet Jackson and Usher. Alexander later went
            on to form his own label Baby Honey Records and teamed up with
            Minneapolis producer Christopher Starr and formed R&B group VIP.
