Berlin based Voight is a new vinyl and digital project from a well known and
respected source. Focusing on a puristic Techno sound, the label has already
seen contributions from artists such as Oliver Deutschmann, Flug, GoldFFinch,
Albert van Abbe and others. ALPI are an Italian production duo that arrive on
Voight following excellent releases for Arnaud Le Texier's Children of Tomorrow
and the legendary Dutch imprint Planet Rhythm. Having shared the DJ booth with
artists such as Markus Suckut and Kobosil, they are one to keep a close eye on.
Wrong Assessment is also an Italian based artist who comes with a fine pedigree
having released music on labels like Invite's Choice, Cleric's Clergy,
EarToGround and most recently Bas Mooy's Mord. The tracks have an instant
ingrained class, focusing on a mixture of tough broken rhythms, dubby sounds,
ethereal textures and poignant harmonics.
