from Blacksoul. The EP opens up with a good'n'funky bumper with some -
literally - orgasmic elements, good to hear that these guys have a
sense of humour about what they do. 'No More Trouble' follows,
luvverly deep jazzed out house in the DIY vein, tinkly keys, choppy
yet smooth jazz and funk guitar, breezy ocean sounds..... aah.
Breathe deep, exhale slowly..... 'Nu Life' keeps it jazzy but steps
up the tempo a little, some nice discofunk elements in there to sustain
the feelgood feeldeep atmosphere of the EP. Great bit of Bensonesque
jazz guitar improvisation, works jus' fine with those warm keys. Last up,
'My Love' has a real Barry White sexy soul feel to it. Deep deep stuff
and a fine four-tracker with full marks for soul and lushness.
