│ Classic EP from the long-running influential │
│ German trance label, NOOM Records. It was │
│ founded in 1993 by Joachim Keil as part of │
│ the Undercover Music Group (aka UCMG), │
│ alongside other notable German labels such as │
│ Phuture Wax, Plastic City, Global Ambition, │
│ and Time Unlimited. Many of the releases │
│ were either composed, remixed, or produced by │
│ the in-house engineer Commander Tom. The │
│ label went on to issue over 70 singles and │
│ nearly 20 albums in its lifespan, before the │
│ bankruptcy of UCMG forced it to shut down. │
│ Will it ever be resurrected someday? Only │
│ time will tell... │
│ │
│ This particular release is the vinyl version │
│ of the 36th release on the label, Commander │
│ Tom's "Kiss Myself EP". Featuring the full │
│ length 12" Version, as well as two remixes │
│ from some of his pseudonyms, this has quite a │
│ few variations on the track with the Human │
│ Resource "Dominator" vocal samples. The │
│ original mix is a percolating tech-trance │
│ piece in Tom's inimitable style, the Ra·l de │
│ Chile Remix is a more anthemic trance │
│ version, and the Andy Trex version is a │
│ pumping techno take on it with lots of │
│ effects. │
