│ Classic EP from the long-running influential │
│ German trance label, NOOM Records. It was │
│ founded in 1993 by Joachim Keil as part of │
│ the Undercover Music Group (aka UCMG), │
│ alongside other notable German labels such as │
│ Phuture Wax, Plastic City, Global Ambition, │
│ and Time Unlimited. Many of the releases │
│ were either composed, remixed, or produced by │
│ the in-house engineer Commander Tom. The │
│ label went on to issue over 70 singles and │
│ nearly 20 albums in its lifespan, before the │
│ bankruptcy of UCMG forced it to shut down. │
│ Will it ever be resurrected someday? Only │
│ time will tell... │
│ │
│ This particular release is the vinyl version │
│ of the 31st release on the label, the │
│ "Twisted Minds EP" by Twisted. Here, Nuclear │
│ Hyde turn in two more pumping, energetic │
│ trance numbers that never fail to uplift. The │
│ A-side, "Anatronic", is a perfect driving │
│ song, as long as you don't mind getting a few │
│ speeding tickets zooming along the way. The │
│ flipside, "No Recess", is a bit more mellow │
│ and melancholy, but still excellent. Well │
│ worth a listen! │
