2001. It was released in conjunction with a street
fashion show of the same name, and the famed
Sugarlicks club night at Auckland pacific soul club
Khuja Lounge. The compilation received 5-star reviews
across the board with one national magazine claiming
it was a "vision destined to become great"... This
compilation hashas undergone a few lineup changes over
the years but still retains the feel of the original.
It swings between pacific soul style ballads, to hip
hop soul and unique slices of music that could only
come from the island paradise that is modern Urban New
Zealand."
