|   |  Canadian Aaron Funk (aka Venetian Snares) has risen from the       |   |
|   |  breakcore underground to become one of the most exciting           |   |
|   |  musicians working in electronic music today. "Meathole", a follow  |   |
|   |  up to the majorly acclaimed "Rossz Csillag Alatt Szuletett", is a  |   |
|   |  return to the dark atmospherics of earlier Funk efforts like       |   |
|   |  "Doll Doll Doll" and "Find Candace". Here, Funk eschews the        |   |
|   |  charming melodics and baroque strings of recent works and sinks    |   |
|   |  again into a dark world of murder, devil worship and child abuse.  |   |
|   |  The beats are unrelenting and odd time-signatures and spooky pads  |   |
|   |  are perfectly employed throughout. Another well constructed opus   |   |
|   |  from an artist who can't seem to stop making experimental          |   |
|   |  breakcore and d 'n' b classics.                                    |   |
