|   |  After a brief respite, Echocord are back with another pearler.     |   |
|   |  This is no less than the fourth remix ep of Mikkel Metal           |   |
|   |  material, but far from the pot running dry, we sense it nearing    |   |
|   |  the overflow mark. Remixers in session are no less than Chain      |   |
|   |  Reaction genius Vainqueur, The Modernist and Michael Mayer.        |   |
|   |  Vainqueur is known to his mum as RenΘ L≤we, hailing from the       |   |
|   |  berlin epicentre Hardwax, his mix oozes barely contained space     |   |
|   |  and wide wide dubwise groove sensibility. Chain Reaction / Basic   |   |
|   |  Channel spotters look no further, this is top drawer material      |   |
|   |  from Rene and an absolute must! For the flip, The Modernist is     |   |
|   |  perkier, more poppy, flecked with his own vocals by himself. Very  |   |
|   |  groovy, with dubby elements, perfect for the dancefloor û          |   |
|   |  somewhat like a grace jones piece with an elevated tempo for       |   |
|   |  midnight movers. Michael Mayer manages to really pull something    |   |
|   |  special out of the bag - taking the Mikkel Metal original to an    |   |
|   |  unforseen location still deeper than before û could this be a new  |   |
|   |  career in dub for the cologne maestro?                             |   |
