Release Notes:
As the DJ for the Black Eyed Peas, Poet Name Life has established himself
as one of the newest members of Los Angeles' music elite. His first
full-length album, Calm Before The Storm, features tunes embodying a
dynamic and futuristic musical collision between worlds of live
instrumentation, free-form jazz, club-moving, head-bobbing, hip-hop, and
loungy, tweaked out electronics. Poet innovatively combines spacey Moog
riffs, stripped-down turntablistics, hard drumbeats, and the lush
instrumentation of live musicians.
